Kolar is a small village of 2222 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kolar depends on Rani, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 210.87% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kolar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kolar's pin code is 306502[4], and village code is 02457200. The area of Kolar is segregated as 355.12 hectares irrigated area, 295.56 hectares unirrigated, the 1145.31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 359.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kolar is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 868 and has total administration over 184 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kolar has 102 children, 52 boys and 50 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 302 (34.79%) males constitute 157 (18.09%) of the population and females 145 (16.71%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 36 (4.15%) males constitute 16 (1.84%) of the population and females 20 (2.30%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rani and Pali to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
