Krishnganj is a small village of 3042 hectares in Sirohi Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Krishnganj depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 89.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Krishnganj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Krishnganj's pin code is 307001[4], and village code is 02357700. The area of Krishnganj is segregated as 107 hectares irrigated area, 306 hectares unirrigated, the 518 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1466 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Krishnganj has One post office (Krishnaganj B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Krishnganj has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Krishnganj is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2471 and has total administration over 4700 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Krishnganj has 387 children, 323 boys and 1322 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 692 (28.0%) males constitute 630 (25.50%) of the population and females 291 (11.78%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 155 (6.27%) males constitute 136 (5.50%) of the population and females 2086 (84.42%).

The workforce is 540 male, 1480 female with 1120 (85.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 360 males and 488 females. 121 males and 239 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 111 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 189 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
