Kuhara is a small village of 782 hectares in Kotputli Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kuhara depends on Kotputli, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 51.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kuhara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kuhara's pin code is 303503[4], and village code is 01449700. The area of Kuhara is segregated as 111 hectares irrigated area, 126 hectares unirrigated, the 63 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 169 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kuhara has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Kuhara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Kuhara is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1944 and has total administration over 242 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 182 (9.36%) males constitute 101 (5.20%) of the population and females 81 (4.17%).

The workforce is 609 male, 509 female with 589 (52.68%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 386 males and 203 females. 302 males and 182 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 29 male and 16 female agricultural labor. 529 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kotputli and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
