Kunthwa is a small village of 1417 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kunthwa depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 18.43% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Kunthwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kunthwa's pin code is 313301[4], and village code is 03039800. The area of Kunthwa is segregated as 23.22 hectares irrigated area, 240.18 hectares unirrigated, the 906.37 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 241.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kunthwa is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3497 and has total administration over 729 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 456 (13.04%) males constitute 221 (6.32%) of the population and females 235 (6.72%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 2325 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1184 male, 1141 female with 1210 (52.04%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 812 males and 398 females. 362 males and 219 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 48 male and 59 female agricultural labor. 1115 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
