Kunwar is a small village of 527 hectares in Mandal Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kunwar depends on Shahpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 47.63% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kunwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kunwar's pin code is 311804[4], and village code is 02832000. The area of Kunwar is segregated as 47.63 hectares irrigated area, 113.39 hectares unirrigated, the 268.27 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 97.22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kunwar is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 674 and has total administration over 149 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Kunwar has 126 children, 58 boys and 68 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 75 (11.13%) males constitute 33 (4.90%) of the population and females 42 (6.23%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 153 (22.70%) males constitute 70 (10.39%) of the population and females 83 (12.31%).

The workforce is 194 male, 218 female with 168 (40.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 133 males and 35 females. 82 males and 29 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 female agricultural labor. 244 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Shahpura and Bhilwara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
