Kureda is a small village of 731 hectares in Peeplu Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kureda depends on Tonk, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Kureda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kureda's pin code is 304001[4], and village code is 02611700. The area of Kureda is segregated as 529.27 hectares irrigated area, 83.8 hectares unirrigated, the 49.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67.79 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kureda is a census village in the district of Tonk, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2038 and has total administration over 387 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 383 (18.79%) males constitute 187 (9.18%) of the population and females 196 (9.62%).

Employment[edit]

The workforce is 496 male, 512 female with 862 (85.52%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 440 males and 422 females. 363 males and 356 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 43 male and 42 female agricultural labor. 146 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tonk to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
