Lüftner Cruises is an Austria shipping company based in Innsbruck, Austria, that offers cruises on European Union. As of 2020, it had a fleet of 16 AMADEUS ships.

History[edit]

Lüftner Cruises was founded in 1994 by Wolfgang Lüftner and Martina Lüftner and remains a family business to this day. After using only chartered ships in its early years, the company began to establish its own fleet in 1997 with the construction of MS Amadeus.

Fleet[edit]

The Lüftner Cruises Amadeus fleet comprises 16 ships that travel through Austria, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands (see list of river cruise ships).

Cruises[edit]

The fleet sails various rivers – the Danube, Rhine, Main, Mosel, Rhône, Saône and Seine – as well as Belgian and Dutch Waterway|waterways. The company offers traditional River cruise|river cruises throughout Europe and themed cruises for Golf and fans of classical music.
