Ladpura is a small village of 268 hectares in Sawai Madhopur Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ladpura depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 80.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ladpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ladpura's pin code is 322001[4], and village code is 01282500. The area of Ladpura is segregated as 183.1 hectares irrigated area, 23.87 hectares unirrigated, the 42.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Ladpura has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Ladpura is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1258 and has total administration over 250 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Ladpura has 218 children, 113 boys and 105 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 234 (18.60%) males constitute 119 (9.46%) of the population and females 115 (9.14%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of GANGAPUR CITY and Sawai Madhopur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
