Lal Madri is a small village of 669 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lal Madri depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 18.23% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lal Madri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lal Madri's pin code is 313301[4], and village code is 03048600. The area of Lal Madri is segregated as 88.05 hectares irrigated area, 68.64 hectares unirrigated, the 463.14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49.19 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lal Madri is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2121 and has total administration over 482 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 228 (10.75%) males constitute 118 (5.56%) of the population and females 110 (5.19%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 852 (40.17%) males constitute 431 (20.32%) of the population and females 421 (19.85%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NATHDWARA and Rajsamand to sell marble chips and make their living.
