Lalgarh is a small village of 191 hectares in Bassi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalgarh depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 125.53% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lalgarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lalgarh's pin code is 303301[4], and village code is 01570400. The area of Lalgarh is segregated as 125.53 hectares irrigated area, 30.35 hectares unirrigated, the 28.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lalgarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Lalgarh is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 741 and has total administration over 94 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Lalgarh has 105 children, 55 boys and 50 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 18 (2.43%) males constitute 7 (0.94%) of the population and females 11 (1.48%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 8 (1.08%) males constitute 5 (0.67%) of the population and females 3 (0.40%).

The workforce is 267 male, 253 female with 349 (67.12%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 172 males and 177 females. 60 males and 143 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 3 male and 3 female agricultural labor. 171 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
