Lalgarh is a small village of 3927 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalgarh depends on BIDASAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 93.58% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lalgarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Lalgarh's pin code is 331518[4], and village code is 00653500. The area of Lalgarh is segregated as 113.81 hectares irrigated area, 3442.17 hectares unirrigated, the 218.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 152.76 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lalgarh has One post office (Lalgarh S.O (Churu)) and Seventy public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Lalgarh has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Lalgarh is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5469 and has total administration over 948 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 1010 (18.47%) males constitute 525 (9.60%) of the population and females 485 (8.87%).

The workforce is 1368 male, 1343 female with 2023 (74.62%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1127 males and 896 females. 734 males and 720 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 127 male and 138 female agricultural labor. 688 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BIDASAR and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
