Lalpura is a small village of 862 hectares in Amber Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lalpura depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 651.41% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lalpura's pin code is 303701[4], and village code is 01557500. The area of Lalpura is segregated as 651.41 hectares irrigated area, 118.6 hectares unirrigated, the 9.38 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 82.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lalpura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 942 and has total administration over 139 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 101 (10.72%) males constitute 50 (5.31%) of the population and females 51 (5.41%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 46 (4.88%) males constitute 24 (2.55%) of the population and females 22 (2.34%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
