Lanera is a small village of 1345 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lanera depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lanera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Lanera's pin code is 306104[4], and village code is 02411000. The area of Lanera is segregated as 1056 hectares unirrigated, the 195 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 94 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lanera has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Lanera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Lanera is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1882 and has total administration over 341 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 563 (29.91%) males constitute 284 (15.09%) of the population and females 279 (14.82%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
