Langach is a small village of 793 hectares in Kapasan Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Langach depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 95.01% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Langach is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Langach's pin code is 312207[4], and village code is 03621000. The area of Langach is segregated as 213.91 hectares irrigated area, 227.36 hectares unirrigated, the 193.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 158.13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Langach has One post office (Langach B.O) and Five public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Langach has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Langach is a census village in the district of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1812 and has total administration over 365 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Langach has 203 children, 99 boys and 104 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 300 (16.56%) males constitute 149 (8.22%) of the population and females 151 (8.33%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 4 (0.22%) males constitute 3 (0.17%) of the population and females 1 (0.06%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kapasan and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
