Lankai is a small village of 268 hectares in Bagidora Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lankai depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lankai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Lankai's pin code is 327601[4], and village code is 03482700. The area of Lankai is segregated as 152 hectares unirrigated, the 39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Lankai has One post office (Lankai B.O). Lankai has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Lankai is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1464 and has total administration over 272 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 136 (9.29%) males constitute 65 (4.44%) of the population and females 71 (4.85%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 750 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 377 male, 373 female with 524 (69.87%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 279 males and 245 females. 233 males and 117 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 14 male and 108 female agricultural labor. 226 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell earthen pot and make their living.
