Lapuwa is a small village of 795 hectares in Sri Madhopur Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lapuwa depends on Reengus, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 576.47% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lapuwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lapuwa's pin code is 332404[4], and village code is 01734700. The area of Lapuwa is segregated as 576.47 hectares irrigated area, 104.54 hectares unirrigated, the 81.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 32.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lapuwa is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2910 and has total administration over 383 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Lapuwa has 352 children, 187 boys and 165 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 415 (14.26%) males constitute 224 (7.70%) of the population and females 191 (6.56%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 98 (3.37%) males constitute 51 (1.75%) of the population and females 47 (1.62%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Reengus and Sikar to sell ghee and make their living.
