Lodha is a small village of 355 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lodha depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Lodha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lodha's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03433200. The area of Lodha is segregated as 142 hectares irrigated area, 111 hectares unirrigated, the 8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 93.53 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lodha has One post office (Lodha B.O) and Ten public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Lodha has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Lodha is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2198 and has total administration over 470 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Lodha has 375 children, 202 boys and 173 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 145 (6.60%) males constitute 75 (3.41%) of the population and females 70 (3.18%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 942 (42.86%) males constitute 472 (21.47%) of the population and females 470 (21.38%).

According to a census 2011 report, 949 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 597 male, 352 female with 719 (75.76%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 555 males and 164 females. 173 males and 66 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 32 male and 18 female agricultural labor. 230 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell juggary and make their living.
