Lodrau is a small village of 815 hectares in Sayla Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lodrau depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 98.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lodrau is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Lodrau's pin code is 343023[4], and village code is 02275800. The area of Lodrau is segregated as 414 hectares irrigated area, 287 hectares unirrigated, the 71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lodrau is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1389 and has total administration over 210 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 356 male, 156 female with 433 (84.57%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 336 males and 97 females. 202 males and 26 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 40 male and 24 female agricultural labor. 79 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthenpot and make their living.
