The Los Angeles Tribune Magazine is a division of the parent company The Los Angeles Tribune that was originally established in 1886. The magazine focuses on stories and photos of people, news, sports, lifestyle, business, money, thought-leadership, and other cultural affairs occurring in Los Angeles, the nation as a whole, and the world at large as a major media hub.

Since the brand’s first print publication in the 1800’s several types of additional printed materials have been used to supplement the brand which over time have included calendars, magazines, and collectibles. In addition to highlighting local stories and politics, several celebrities have been the face of the magazine including Julia Roberts, Robert Pattinson, and Ryan Reynolds. The Los Angeles Tribune has a track record to everything from sponsoring major events to securing interviews with A-list personalities.[1]

Content[edit]

The editorial material is made up of a diverse selection of news reporting, Op ed’s, regular columns, editorials, reviews, letters to the editor and interviews. The majority of the content created is digital similar to other major media news feeds and is located at theLosAngelesTribuneMag.com.

Ownership[edit]

Over the 100 plus years the Los Angeles Tribune has existed with its various divisions and media outlets there have been many public and private investors with some level of ownership. All current owners are not publicly listed except for entrepreneurs Moe Rock and Mas Sajady that have an undisclosed number of shares. There is also a board of advisors that focuses on maintaining the principles of integrity in independent journalism. The general legal counsel is listed as Saji Gunawardane of the US Business Counsel.[2]
