Lottie is a London-based company founded in June 2021 by brothers Chris and Will Donnelly.[1]. The company provides a free digital healthcare marketplace and concierge service that assists families in finding suitable care homes[2] and retirement living properties for their loved ones.

Lottie aims to support care seekers by offering transparency around facilities, quality of care and pricing.

Their services include assisting the elderly in their search for care homes, a retirement property marketplace and a support service for providing employees with elder care support.

History and founders[edit]

Lottie was established by Chris and Will Donnelly when they faced difficulties in finding suitable care for their own family member[3]. Lottie launched in the summer of 2021, with its headquarters based in London.

Chris donnelly[edit]

Chris Donnelly - one of the co-founders of Lottie - previously founded Verb Brands[4], a luxury digital marketing agency specialising in driving growth and revenue for luxury and premium brands.

Will donnelly[edit]

Will Donnelly[5] - the other co-founder - has over five years of experience advising UK care and retirement operators. He's also been actively involved in helping care seekers find suitable care options.

Services[edit]

Lottie offers several services to support families and retirees in their search for suitable care and later living.

Care Homes[edit]

Lottie provides a care search locator tool[6] that allows users to find and compare care homes. The listed care homes undergo a thorough vetting process, with factors such as care quality, home culture, and ethical practices all being considered.

Lottie's homes offer support for various elderly care needs, including nursing and residential care, specialist dementia care and respite care.

Retirement Living[edit]

Lottie operates a free marketplace that matches retirees with retirement living properties. The platform assists users in finding retirement homes and supports them throughout the settling-in process. Lottie is an affiliate of ARCO (Associated Retirement Community Operators).

Seniorcare[edit]

Lottie's Seniorcare service helps UK businesses provide elder care benefits to their employees. The service is aimed at companies committed to creating comprehensive employee benefit programmes.

Lottie conducts consultations to better understand employees' circumstances and the type of care their loved ones require. They then identify suitable care options based on personal preferences, and users gain access to deals, offers and relevant content.

Found CRM Acquisition[edit]

On September 7th, 2022, Lottie acquired Found CRM - an online care home software platform - for £1.5 million[7]

Found CRM is a tool that records and tracks enquiries for care homes and assists in managing tasks and analysing data.

Funding and Investors[edit]

Lottie has received significant funding over the last 2 years[8]. The company has raised £9.025 million to date, including a £6.125 million investment led by General Catalyst[9] and additional backing by British entrepreneur Monzo founder Tom Blomfield[10]

Lottie's valuation currently stands at £45 million, and the company employs over 40 team members.
