Machari is a small village of 2022 hectares in Rajgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Machari depends on RAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 103.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Machari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Machari's pin code is 301408[4], and village code is 00911900. The area of Machari is segregated as 278 hectares irrigated area, 898 hectares unirrigated, the 48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 264 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Machari is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 7218 and has total administration over 1201 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 1851 male, 1313 female with 2117 (66.91%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1526 males and 591 females. 880 males and 465 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 84 male and 56 female agricultural labor. 1047 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAJGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
