Mada is a small village of 1360 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mada depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 364.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mada's pin code is 306702[4], and village code is 02466200. The area of Mada is segregated as 364 hectares irrigated area, 521 hectares unirrigated, the 333 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 142 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mada has One post office (Mada B.O) and Seventy public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mada has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Mada is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2644 and has total administration over 568 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mada has 326 children, 178 boys and 148 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 576 (21.79%) males constitute 292 (11.04%) of the population and females 284 (10.74%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 9 (0.34%) males constitute 3 (0.11%) of the population and females 6 (0.23%).

The workforce is 594 male, 233 female with 635 (76.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 534 males and 101 females. 166 males and 37 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 63 male and 20 female agricultural labor. 192 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
