Madanpur is a small village of 307 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madanpur depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Madanpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Madanpur's pin code is 322242[4], and village code is 01225000. The area of Madanpur is segregated as 39.73 hectares irrigated area, 70.83 hectares unirrigated, the 59.18 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 137.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Madanpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Madanpur is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1144 and has total administration over 208 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 463 (40.47%) males constitute 257 (22.47%) of the population and females 206 (18.01%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
