Madariya is a small village of 1086 hectares in Deogarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madariya depends on DEOGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 10.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Madariya is also surrounded by Two lakes.
