Madiya is a small village of 1580 hectares in Sirohi Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madiya depends on SIROHI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 80.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Madiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Madiya's pin code is 307802[4], and village code is 02354000. The area of Madiya is segregated as 314 hectares irrigated area, 45 hectares unirrigated, the 466 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 755 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Madiya has One post office (Madia B.O) and Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Madiya has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Madiya is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1049 and has total administration over 2136 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Madiya has 172 children, 148 boys and 505 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 274 (26.12%) males constitute 231 (22.02%) of the population and females 73 (6.96%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 40 (3.81%) males constitute 33 (3.15%) of the population and females 932 (88.85%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
