Maholi is a small village of 1486 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maholi depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 108.04% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Maholi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Maholi's pin code is 322243[4], and village code is 01236700. The area of Maholi is segregated as 255.73 hectares irrigated area, 506.5 hectares unirrigated, the 94.83 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 311.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Maholi has One post office (Maholi B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Maholi has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Maholi is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 4728 and has total administration over 826 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Maholi has 771 children, 402 boys and 369 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1501 (31.75%) males constitute 758 (16.03%) of the population and females 743 (15.71%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 56 (1.18%) males constitute 34 (0.72%) of the population and females 22 (0.47%).

The workforce is 1131 male, 191 female with 1178 (89.11%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1056 males and 122 females. 578 males and 88 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 13 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 144 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
