Mahoo is a small village of 355 hectares in Karauli Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahoo depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mahoo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mahoo's pin code is 322249[4], and village code is 01237700. The area of Mahoo is segregated as 58 hectares irrigated area, 84 hectares unirrigated, the 139 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 74 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Mahoo has One post office (Harnagar B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Mahoo has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Mahoo is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2155 and has total administration over 391 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Mahoo has 387 children, 199 boys and 188 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 627 (29.10%) males constitute 352 (16.33%) of the population and females 275 (12.76%).
- Scheduled tribe counts for 316 (14.66%) males constitute 176 (8.17%) of the population and females 140 (6.50%).

The workforce is 533 male, 270 female with 378 (47.07%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 345 males and 33 females. 44 males and 27 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 12 male. 425 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
