Mahrawar is a small village of 582 hectares in Bayana Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahrawar depends on Bayana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mahrawar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mahrawar's pin code is 321411[4], and village code is 01077200. The area of Mahrawar is segregated as 195 hectares irrigated area, 295 hectares unirrigated, the 80 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mahrawar has One post office (Mehrawar B.O). Mahrawar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Mahrawar is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1426 and has total administration over 241 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mahrawar has 282 children, 156 boys and 126 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 406 (28.47%) males constitute 211 (14.80%) of the population and females 195 (13.67%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bayana and Bharatpur to sell rope making and make their living.
