Mahura is a small village of 239 hectares in Kushalgarh Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahura depends on Kushalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mahura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mahura's pin code is 327801[4], and village code is 03523900. The area of Mahura is segregated as 36 hectares irrigated area, 125 hectares unirrigated, the 45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mahura is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1234 and has total administration over 225 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 341 male, 332 female with 414 (61.52%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 238 males and 176 females. 216 males and 130 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 18 male and 41 female agricultural labor. 259 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kushalgarh and Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
