Mahuwa is a small village of 1834 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mahuwa depends on Mandalgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 90.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and One spring. Mahuwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mahuwa's pin code is 311604[4], and village code is 02932100. The area of Mahuwa is segregated as 994 hectares irrigated area, 141 hectares unirrigated, the 152 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 547 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mahuwa has One post office (Mahuwa B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mahuwa has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mahuwa is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5487 and has total administration over 1099 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mahuwa has 807 children, 426 boys and 381 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1313 (23.93%) males constitute 679 (12.37%) of the population and females 634 (11.55%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 312 (5.69%) males constitute 165 (3.01%) of the population and females 147 (2.68%).

The workforce is 1562 male, 928 female with 2059 (82.69%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1411 males and 648 females. 816 males and 517 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 72 male and 44 female agricultural labor. 431 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mandalgarh and Bhilwara to sell iron equip. and make their living.
