Mainapura is a small village of 543 hectares in Weir Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mainapura depends on Bhusawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mainapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mainapura's pin code is 321409[4], and village code is 01062200. The area of Mainapura is segregated as 367 hectares irrigated area, 15 hectares unirrigated, the 21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mainapura is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3159 and has total administration over 560 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 1406 (44.51%) males constitute 742 (23.49%) of the population and females 664 (21.02%).

The workforce is 807 male, 310 female with 716 (64.1%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 664 males and 52 females. 413 males and 34 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 39 males. 401 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bhusawar and Bharatpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
