Majeepura is a small village of 404 hectares in Shahpura Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Majeepura depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Majeepura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Majeepura's pin code is 303806[4], and village code is 01473400. The area of Majeepura is segregated as 190.09 hectares irrigated area, 120.4 hectares unirrigated, the 33.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 60.64 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Majeepura has One post office (Jagatpura B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Majeepura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Majeepura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1705 and has total administration over 281 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Majeepura has 213 children, 122 boys and 91 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 78 (4.57%) males constitute 34 (1.99%) of the population and females 44 (2.58%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 271 (15.89%) males constitute 130 (7.62%) of the population and females 141 (8.27%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
