Makholi is a small village of 294 hectares in Sawai Madhopur Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Makholi depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 75.87% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Makholi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Makholi's pin code is 322034[4], and village code is 01314500. The area of Makholi is segregated as 204.25 hectares irrigated area, 44.92 hectares unirrigated, the 13.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.16 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Makholi is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1701 and has total administration over 291 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 121 (7.11%) males constitute 66 (3.88%) of the population and females 55 (3.23%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sawai Madhopur to sell ghee and make their living.
