Makreda is a small village of 136 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Makreda depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Makreda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Makreda's pin code is 305901[4], and village code is 02517700. The area of Makreda is segregated as 45.11 hectares irrigated area, 12.04 hectares unirrigated, the 42.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 36.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Makreda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Makreda is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 772 and has total administration over 173 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 91 (11.79%) males constitute 49 (6.35%) of the population and females 42 (5.44%).

According to a census 2011 report, 339 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 188 male, 151 female with 256 (75.52%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 162 males and 94 females. 49 males and 52 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 16 female agricultural labor. 83 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
