Mala is a small village of 1516 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mala depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 13.12% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mala's pin code is 305813[4], and village code is 02495500. The area of Mala is segregated as 43.58 hectares irrigated area, 806.31 hectares unirrigated, the 147.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 113.51 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mala has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mala has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mala is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1296 and has total administration over 238 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mala has 201 children, 95 boys and 106 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 318 (24.54%) males constitute 168 (12.96%) of the population and females 150 (11.57%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 21 (1.62%) males constitute 12 (0.93%) of the population and females 9 (0.69%).

The workforce is 362 male, 278 female with 479 (74.84%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 343 males and 136 females. 141 males and 94 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 9 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 161 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
