Malera is a small village of 142 hectares in Chomu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malera depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 110.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malera's pin code is 303806[4], and village code is 01488100. The area of Malera is segregated as 110 hectares irrigated area, 26 hectares unirrigated, the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Malera has One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Malera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Malera is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 762 and has total administration over 129 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled tribe counts for 757 (99.34%) males constitute 405 (53.15%) of the population and females 352 (46.19%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
