Malkera is a small village of 570 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malkera depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 110.99% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malkera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Malkera's pin code is 332021[4], and village code is 01700600. The area of Malkera is segregated as 110.99 hectares irrigated area, 295.07 hectares unirrigated, the 62.97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Malkera has Fifteen public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Malkera has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Malkera is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2120 and has total administration over 366 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Malkera has 306 children, 182 boys and 124 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 534 (25.19%) males constitute 295 (13.92%) of the population and females 239 (11.27%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 102 (4.81%) males constitute 57 (2.69%) of the population and females 45 (2.12%).

The workforce is 524 male, 362 female with 636 (71.78%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 462 males and 174 females. 177 males and 156 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 55 male and 7 female agricultural labor. 250 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
