Malpura is a small village of 510 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malpura depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 1.26% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malpura's pin code is 326514[4], and village code is 04130300. The area of Malpura is segregated as 14.07 hectares irrigated area, 52.73 hectares unirrigated, the 57.31 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 109.63 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Malpura has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Malpura is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 133 and has total administration over 26 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Malpura has 19 children, 9 boys and 10 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 14 (10.53%) males constitute 8 (6.02%) of the population and females 6 (4.51%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
