Malwas is a small village of 450 hectares in Lalsot Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Malwas depends on Dausa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 100.70% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Malwas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Malwas's pin code is 303510[4], and village code is 01409100. The area of Malwas is segregated as 207.7 hectares irrigated area, 111.29 hectares unirrigated, the 101.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28.8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Malwas has One post office (Bidarkhan B.O) and Five public telephones. Malwas has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Malwas is a census village in the district of Dausa, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2825 and has total administration over 477 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Malwas has 436 children, 250 boys and 186 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 467 (16.53%) males constitute 261 (9.24%) of the population and females 206 (7.29%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 1994 (70.58%) males constitute 1063 (37.63%) of the population and females 931 (32.96%).

The workforce is 645 male, 633 female with 1180 (92.33%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 620 males and 560 females. 427 males and 462 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 34 male and 58 female agricultural labor. 98 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dausa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
