Mamdoli is a small village of 889 hectares in Bonli Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mamdoli depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mamdoli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mamdoli's pin code is 322024[4], and village code is 01301200. The area of Mamdoli is segregated as 106.84 hectares irrigated area, 619.16 hectares unirrigated, the 113.36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mamdoli has One post office (Mamdoli B.O) and One public telephone. Mamdoli has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Mamdoli is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1990 and has total administration over 327 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mamdoli has 327 children, 169 boys and 158 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 621 (31.21%) males constitute 330 (16.58%) of the population and females 291 (14.62%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 349 (17.54%) males constitute 169 (8.49%) of the population and females 180 (9.05%).

The workforce is 545 male, 513 female with 466 (44.05%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 411 males and 55 females. 326 males and 36 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 10 male and 5 female agricultural labor. 592 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sawai Madhopur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
