Manai is a small village of 1429 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manai depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 100.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manai's pin code is 342306[4], and village code is 01958300. The area of Manai is segregated as 857.24 hectares irrigated area, 239.49 hectares unirrigated, the 235.72 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 31.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Manai is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2481 and has total administration over 410 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Manai has 441 children, 230 boys and 211 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 788 (31.76%) males constitute 401 (16.16%) of the population and females 387 (15.60%).

The workforce is 647 male, 416 female with 1032 (97.08%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 636 males and 396 females. 431 males and 283 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 114 male and 94 female agricultural labor. 31 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
