Manasi is a small village of 1078 hectares in Kotra Tehsil in Udaipur district, also called 'the city of lakes' set amidst the Aravalli Ranges in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manasi depends on Khedbrahma (Gujrat), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Manasi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manasi's pin code is 313701[4], and village code is 03113900. The area of Manasi is segregated as 7.11 hectares irrigated area, 12.09 hectares unirrigated, the 18.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 88.56 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Manasi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Manasi is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 328 and has total administration over 58 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Manasi has 91 children, 54 boys and 37 girls.
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 328 (100.0%) males constitute 182 (55.49%) of the population and females 146 (44.51%).

The workforce is 86 male, 91 female with 170 (96.05%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 86 males and 84 females. 48 males and 54 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 29 male and 16 female agricultural labor. 7 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Khedbrahma (Gujrat) and Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
