Mandalya is a small village of 1148 hectares in Ladpura Tehsil in Kota district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandalya depends on KOTA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 84.56% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mandalya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mandalya's pin code is 325003[3], and village code is 03811000. The area of Mandalya is segregated as 84.56 hectares irrigated area, 98.4 hectares unirrigated, the 187.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 35.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kota to sell ghee and make their living.
