Mandawas is a small village of 6347 hectares in Rohat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandawas depends on Pali, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mandawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Mandawas's pin code is 306421[4], and village code is 02422900. The area of Mandawas is segregated as 42.35 hectares irrigated area, 5424.12 hectares unirrigated, the 653.24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 227.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mandawas has One post office (Mandawas B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mandawas has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Mandawas is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5987 and has total administration over 1120 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mandawas has 930 children, 470 boys and 460 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 1033 (17.25%) males constitute 526 (8.79%) of the population and females 507 (8.47%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 263 (4.39%) males constitute 141 (2.36%) of the population and females 122 (2.04%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pali to sell sheep_wool and make their living.
