Mandesar is a small village of 441 hectares in Vallabhnagar Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandesar depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 29.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mandesar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mandesar's pin code is 313022[4], and village code is 03175800. The area of Mandesar is segregated as 29 hectares irrigated area, 177 hectares unirrigated, the 88 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 147 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mandesar is a census village in the district of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1740 and has total administration over 355 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 79 (4.54%) males constitute 42 (2.41%) of the population and females 37 (2.13%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Udaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
