Mandhan is a small village of 930 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mandhan depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mandhan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mandhan's pin code is 301704[4], and village code is 00754600. The area of Mandhan is segregated as 469.08 hectares irrigated area, 282.07 hectares unirrigated, the 10.97 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 168.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mandhan has One post office (Mandhan S.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Mandhan has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mandhan is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3807 and has total administration over 712 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 659 (17.31%) males constitute 345 (9.06%) of the population and females 314 (8.25%).

The workforce is 1044 male, 807 female with 1195 (64.56%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 893 males and 302 females. 335 males and 193 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 54 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 656 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell stone tiles and make their living.
