Mangtala is a small village of 1687 hectares in Mandalgarh Tehsil in Bhilwara district, also known as the Textile City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mangtala depends on Beejoliya Kalan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 6.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Mangtala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mangtala's pin code is 311604[4], and village code is 02930900. The area of Mangtala is segregated as 130 hectares irrigated area, 170 hectares unirrigated, the 209 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 848 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mangtala has One post office (Mangthala B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Mangtala has Two banks and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Mangtala is a census village in the district of Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1741 and has total administration over 369 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Mangtala has 242 children, 131 boys and 111 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 218 (12.52%) males constitute 116 (6.66%) of the population and females 102 (5.86%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 564 (32.40%) males constitute 297 (17.06%) of the population and females 267 (15.34%).

The workforce is 526 male, 393 female with 567 (61.7%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 355 males and 212 females. 250 males and 187 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 17 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 352 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beejoliya Kalan and Bhilwara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
