Manki is a small village of 516 hectares in Ramgarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manki depends on RAMGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 29.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manki is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manki's pin code is 301026[4], and village code is 00839800. The area of Manki is segregated as 154 hectares irrigated area, 186 hectares unirrigated, the 58.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 118 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Manki has Six public telephones. Manki has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Manki is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1342 and has total administration over 200 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Manki has 292 children, 151 boys and 141 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 85 (6.33%) males constitute 47 (3.50%) of the population and females 38 (2.83%).

The workforce is 348 male, 345 female with 332 (47.91%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 201 males and 131 females. 86 males and 95 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 9 male and 8 female agricultural labor. 361 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAMGARH and Alwar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
