Manpuri is a small village of 122 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Manpuri depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manpuri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Manpuri's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03443200. The area of Manpuri is segregated as 7 hectares irrigated area, 60 hectares unirrigated, the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Manpuri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Manpuri is a census village in the district of Banswara, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 246 and has total administration over 53 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Manpuri has 36 children, 20 boys and 16 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 70 (28.46%) males constitute 34 (13.82%) of the population and females 36 (14.63%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 142 (57.72%) males constitute 73 (29.67%) of the population and females 69 (28.05%).

According to a census 2011 report, 118 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 66 male, 52 female with 102 (86.44%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 56 males and 46 females. 8 males and 8 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 48 male and 38 female agricultural labor. 16 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
