Marauli is a small village of 507 hectares in Rupbas Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Marauli depends on Bayana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Marauli is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Marauli's pin code is 321402[4], and village code is 01091900. The area of Marauli is segregated as 365.98 hectares irrigated area, 59.93 hectares unirrigated, the 68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 13 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Marauli has One post office (Mandoli B.O) and One public telephone. Marauli has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Demographics[edit]

Marauli is a census village in the district of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2842 and has total administration over 529 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Marauli has 520 children, 294 boys and 226 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 318 (11.19%) males constitute 173 (6.09%) of the population and females 145 (5.10%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bayana and Bharatpur to sell earthen pot and make their living.
